Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you make a baby from a photograph of my child?
A: No I don't, I have standard moulds (kits) that I paint up. These are the babies available under reborn babies to order.
Q: What is a body plate?
A body plate is just an extra piece of vinyl that fits loosely over the front of the cloth body to make the tummy look real.
Q: Can I pay the baby off?
A: I don't generally offer a payment plan, but I am open to discussing it. How I normally work is I require a 50% deposit upfront and then the balance is only due when the baby is finished.
Q: What is the difference between a cloth body and a full anatomically correct body?
A: A cloth body means the head, arms and legs are made out of vinyl and the body is cloth. Full anatomically correct body means the baby has a full vinyl body and is entirely made out of vinyl.
Q: Do you sell clothes and blankets?
A: No, the babies wear and use real baby clothes and blankets which can be bought anywhere.
Q: What does the baby come with?
The baby will come with clothes, nappy, dummy and a blanket.
Q: Can the baby I like be made bigger or smaller?
A: No, the baby cannot be changed to be a smaller or bigger baby as the kits come in that specific size, eg; Lillian is a 3 month old, she cannot be changed to a newborn size baby.
Q: If the baby comes with a cloth body can I change it to have a full anatomically correct body?
A: Generally no but I am open to discussing it. This can only be done with the newborn size babies and the cost will be higher.
